The Role – Private Members Club Bar Supervisor
We’re looking for a confident and hands-on Bar Supervisor to lead service within our exclusive members’ club bar operations.
This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about high-end hospitality, luxury bar service, and member experience. You’ll be at the heart of the club, building relationships with members, leading a dynamic bar team, and ensuring every detail reflects the standards expected in a private members’ club environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead day-to-day bar operations within a busy, high-end private members’ club
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service tailored to members and their guests
- Build strong relationships with regular members, recognising preferences and creating memorable experiences
- Support the delivery and evolution of premium beverage menus, including cocktails, wines and spirits
- Train, coach and inspire the bar team to deliver luxury-level service standards
- Drive sales through confident upselling and product knowledge
- Oversee stock control, EPOS systems and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards
- Work closely with senior leadership to bring new ideas and experiences to life
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in private members’ clubs, luxury bars, or high-end hospitality venues
- Strong floor presence with the ability to lead from the front
- Passion for mixology, premium drinks, and elevated guest experience
- A natural relationship-builder who thrives in a members-only environment
- Commercial awareness with experience managing stock and driving revenue
- Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
- A team leader who motivates, develops and inspires others
