My client is a well established nationwide business and due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist within accounts payable, from invoice entry to statement reconciliation.
- Assist within accounts receivable, reconciliation of customer payments to system data investigating variances and report findings.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts in several currencies.
- Verifying financial documentation in connection with expense reports.
- Develop current reconciliation templates to streamline allocation process if required.
- Support with year-end financial audit
- Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as required.
Skills and experience
- Previous Experience in high volume transactional entry and reconciliation
- Knowledge of accounting principles and basic bookkeeping.
- Excel skills
- Sage experience
