Are you an experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism and Learning Disabilities?
We’re working with a reputable organisation in Derby looking for a Children’s Home Manager to lead a warm, nurturing residential home supporting up to five children aged 5–18.
What you’ll be doing
• Leading the day-to-day running of the children’s home
• Acting as the Ofsted Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes
Regulations and Quality Standards
• Creating a safe, child-centred environment that promotes positive outcomes
• Leading, supervising, and developing a dedicated staff team
• Overseeing care planning, education support, health needs, and safeguarding
• Building strong relationships with families, social workers, and professionals
• Managing staffing, resources, and operational performance
What we’re looking for
✔ Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children’s residential care
✔ Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
✔ Excellent leadership, safeguarding, and decision-making skills
✔ Full UK driving licence
Desirable
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children and Young People (or working towards)
