What you’ll be doing
- Lead the design and development of complex EW systems and solutions
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to solve real‑world challenges
- Drive modelling and simulation capability across projects
- Integrate multi‑domain models into coherent system architectures
- Work closely with customers to translate requirements into deliverable solutions
- Influence technical direction and grow into a Subject Matter Expert
What we’re looking for
You’re likely someone who enjoys solving complex problems and can confidently bridge systems thinking with technical delivery.
Essential
- Strong Systems Engineering background
- Experience with MATLAB / Simulink (or similar modelling tools)
- Experience integrating models across multiple engineering domains
- Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle (design through to test & acceptance)
- Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) or defence systems
Desirable
- MBSE tools (e.g. DOORS, Enterprise Architect, SysML/UML)
- Experience producing system design documentation
- Military or defence background (operator, support, acquisition, etc.)
Security requirements (non‑negotiable)
- UK National
- Eligible for UK Government SC clearance
