Senior Solution Architect (MBSE / EW)

  • Lincoln (LN6) | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
  • £45,000 – £60,000 DOE

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the design and development of complex EW systems and solutions
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to solve real‑world challenges
  • Drive modelling and simulation capability across projects
  • Integrate multi‑domain models into coherent system architectures
  • Work closely with customers to translate requirements into deliverable solutions
  • Influence technical direction and grow into a Subject Matter Expert

What we’re looking for

You’re likely someone who enjoys solving complex problems and can confidently bridge systems thinking with technical delivery.

Essential

  • Strong Systems Engineering background
  • Experience with MATLAB / Simulink (or similar modelling tools)
  • Experience integrating models across multiple engineering domains
  • Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle (design through to test & acceptance)
  • Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) or defence systems

Desirable

  • MBSE tools (e.g. DOORS, Enterprise Architect, SysML/UML)
  • Experience producing system design documentation
  • Military or defence background (operator, support, acquisition, etc.)

Security requirements (non‑negotiable)

  • UK National
  • Eligible for UK Government SC clearance
