Senior Tax Manager (In-House Real Estate)

We are supporting an established and highly reputable Real Estate group as they continue to develop and strengthen their in‑house tax function. As part of this growth, the group is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to play a key role within the finance leadership team.

Reporting directly into the CFO, this position offers broad exposure across the group and will be responsible for owning and driving all key tax activities, including:

• Corporate tax compliance oversight: ensuring accurate, timely filings across the group
• Transfer pricing: maintaining policies and documentation in line with evolving requirements
• Year‑end tax reporting — managing tax provisions, disclosures, and audit interactions
• Oversight of VAT & SDLT: providing technical support and ensuring compliance on transactions and operational matters
• Leading HMRC and outsourced advisor relationships: acting as the primary point of contact and managing ongoing reviews
• Tax support on deals and transactions: including structuring, due diligence, and integration work
• Broader advisory and project work:panning tax risk management, process improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• Experience within real estate, either from an in‑house environment or a relevant practice team
• A solid corporate tax grounding: experience across deals, structuring, or advisory work is beneficial but can be developed
• A proactive, commercially minded individual comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
• Someone who enjoys both hands‑on technical work and stepping back to provide strategic insight
