Our client, a major UK consultancy, is expanding its Defence practice and is seeking a Senior Manager in Supply Chain & Procurement to lead strategic transformation programmes across high profile Defence organisations. This is a senior leadership role shaping operational performance, driving cost efficiency and modernising procurement across complex, mission critical environments.

As a Senior Manager you will:

• Lead the design and delivery of supply chain and procurement transformation initiatives across large scale Defence programmes.
• Develop strategic procurement approaches, supplier value frameworks and commercial models that improve resilience and unlock cost savings.
• Shape operating models, processes and governance structures to strengthen supply chain performance and operational readiness.
• Mentor delivery teams, support client engagement at senior levels and ensure high quality execution across multiple workstreams.
• Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to introduce new digital tools, analytics and data driven decision making across procurement and supply chain operations.
• Represent the consultancy as a trusted advisor, leading pitch activity, shaping proposals and contributing to practice growth.

The ideal Senior Manager will have:

• Strong experience within Defence, either in industry or consulting, with expertise in supply chain, procurement, operations or transformation.
• A proven track record leading complex programmes, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering quantifiable improvements.
• Highly developed analytical capability, able to interpret data, diagnose challenges and build actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Comfortable operating in fast moving, politically sensitive and commercially complex environments.
• Ability to work on site in London as required.

The Package:

• Up to £115,000 base salary
