The Transaction Services Division

The Transaction Services division at AMS Group is a dynamic part of the firm’s Deal Advisory division, focused on delivering high-impact support for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. The team provides expert financial due diligence, deal structuring, and advisory services tailored to mid-market clients.

You will be joining a new team at the forefront of global M&A transactions, including sell-side and buy-side M&A and debt financings. The Transaction services team work on a number of transactions; the role will therefore afford the opportunity to work on these deals, developing deal and sector knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the development of client proposals, shaping the scope, fee structure, and overall value proposition.
  • Manage end-to-end due diligence assignments, coordinating inputs from specialist teams to deliver comprehensive insights.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff to produce high-quality, issue-focused reports and financial analysis.
  • Experience feeding into SPA agreements from a financial perspective.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, ensuring timely resolution of emerging issues and concerns.

Experience & Skills and required:

  • Proven track record in financial due diligence within a Transaction Services team
  • Comfortable working on completion accounts mechanisms Vs Locked Box mechanisms.
  • Qualified Accountant – ACA or equivalent
  • Professional services background.

  • Strong Analytical & report writing skills
  • Commercial awareness – understanding of deal dynamics and the broader M&A landscape.
  • Attention to detail – meticulous approach to reviewing financial information and identifying key issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication – capable of producing clear, concise reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills – ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
