Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an FP&A Analyst to join a growing and dynamic property business. The company is a leading provider of flexible workspace across the UK, with a large national portfolio and strong backing from a publicly listed international real estate group. As the business continues its growth journey, this role will play a key part in supporting financial planning, analysis, and operational decision-making.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance leadership and operational teams, helping to deliver meaningful financial insights that drive performance and profitability across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the FP&A team with the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting of key commercial KPIs
  • Assist budget holders in preparing and reviewing departmental budgets
  • Provide analysis and insight to support financial planning processes

Financial & Business Analysis

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly operational reporting packs
  • Support internal financial reporting and data analysis
  • Work closely with regional and operational teams to analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights
  • Review site investment activity and maintain the site investment tracker
  • Prepare month-end accruals related to site investment and project completion
  • Reconcile the fixed asset register and review capitalisation of project spend
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support the preparation of information for half-year and full-year reporting
  • Contribute to financial modelling and analysis to support commercial decisions and pricing strategies
  • Provide data and insight to support valuation processes and upcoming lease renewals

Systems & Data (SQL / Power BI)

  • Assist in maintaining and improving the SQL database and related data pipelines
  • Support system upgrades and improvements
  • Update SQL and DAX measures to enhance commercial analysis
  • Maintain and develop the existing Power BI reporting suite

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in FP&A or financial analysis is desirable
  • Strong Excel modelling skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to learn technical systems such as SQL, DAX, and Power BI
  • Strong business partnering skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Proactive, ambitious, and eager to contribute to a growing business
