Corporate Associate – Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth Fund work
London | £200,000–£250,000
A leading global law firm is looking to hire a Corporate Associate (4+ PQE) to join its high-performing London Private Equity team.
This is an opportunity to work on high-value, international transactions for major private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors, alongside partners recognised for their work on some of the most complex deals in the market.
The role offers significant client exposure, early responsibility and direct partner access, including the chance to work closely with a partner specialising in sovereign wealth fund investments.
Complex PE work across range of sectors
You will play a key role advising private equity sponsors and financial institutions on complex transactional work, including:
- Leveraged buyouts
- Sponsor-led acquisitions and exits
- Structuring and negotiating management equity incentive plans
- Co-investment and rollover equity arrangements
- Shareholder agreements and corporate governance matters
The team advises on some of the most high-profile transactions in the London market, working with leading global investors across the full capital structure.
Experienced corporate associate
Applications are welcomed from lawyers who have:
- 4 years’ PQE + from a leading international or UK firm
- Strong experience in private equity and M&A transactions
- Demonstrable experience in leveraged buyouts and sponsor transactions
- Experience structuring management equity and co-investment arrangements
- Strong technical skills combined with commercial judgement and excellent interpersonal ability
