Private Wealth Disputes Senior Associate – 4+ PQE

Our client, a highly respected central central London firm, is looking for an experienced Solicitor with management experience to join their strong Private Wealth Disputes team at a senior level! They are highly reputable with a Legal 500 recognised Private Client team, over 40 Solicitors on staff, and a high quality client base. The existing team works alongside the private client department and handles a variety of complex probate disputes, will challenges, and other matters related to the administration of estates. They have a focus on high-value and cross-jurisdictional matters from the First-tier Tribunal, to the Country Court, all the way to the UK Supreme Court.
This position is an opportunity to join the firm at a senior level, assisting existing Partners with the management of junior members while acting as principle on a variety of matters. This is an fantastic opportunity for a Senior Solicitor looking to progress their career up to Senior Associate in a strong pre-existing environment!
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of contentious probate, contested wills, related appeals and other matters often with a HNW or cross-jurisdictional element,
- Assist and support mediation and litigated processes, resolving claims while ensuring client satisfaction,
- Assisting with the management and development of the team, including supervision of junior team members, supporting business development, and contributing to marketing projects,
- Working closely with team Partners on matters of personal development and the development of the team and larger firm,
- Developing relationships and building a personal network of clients
Desired Skills and Experience:
- UK qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE,
- Demonstrated track record of high-quality contentious probate experience in a reputable firm,
- Experience managing and supervising Jr legal professionals,
- Technically strong in advising clients in a variety of relevant matters,
- A team player with strong communication skills,
- Self-motivated with an interest in self development.
