Employment Solicitor

A dynamic employment law team is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their Leeds office. This is a varied and fast‑paced role advising a broad range of clients on employment law matters, combining both advisory work and tribunal advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality employment law advice to clients in person, by telephone, and in writing
  • Manage a tribunal caseload and conduct hearings, including preliminary hearings and CMDs
  • Draft documents, conduct legal research, and provide practical, solution‑focused guidance
  • Attend meetings and negotiations with clients and third parties
  • Support business development activities, including training and networking
  • Supervise and delegate work to trainees, paralegals, or support staff where appropriate

The Candidate

Qualified solicitor with 2-5 years’ post‑qualification experience in employment law. Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work to challenging timescales and manage competing priorities. Excellent attention to detail and effective organisational skills. Proactive, team‑oriented, and committed to professional development.

Benefits & Working Pattern

£60,000-£70,000 salary (DOE)
