The Role
As a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will gain exposure to a variety of projects while working closely with experienced engineers and consultants. The role will involve a balance of site work and technical reporting, providing excellent training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Ground Investigations
- Soil and groundwater sampling and logging on site
- Supporting contaminated land risk assessments
- Preparing factual and interpretative reports
- Assisting with data analysis and environmental assessments
- Liaising with contractors, clients, and the wider project team
- Ensuring work is completed in line with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
- A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong interest in geoenvironmental and ground investigation work
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
- Full UK driving licence
