Project Manager – Compliance Surveillance
Overview
A financial services firm is looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to support its Compliance function, focusing on systems and data used to monitor trading activity.
This is a hybrid role combining analysis, delivery, and data responsibilities, working closely with both business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and define business and data requirements
- Act as a link between business stakeholders and technology teams
- Support delivery of projects from initiation through to testing and implementation
- Perform analysis of systems, processes, and data flows
- Help design and improve data processes and controls
- Support onboarding and testing of new data sources
- Assist with issue investigation and resolution, including production data
- Provide regular updates and ensure priorities are clearly managed
- Contribute to process improvements and technology enhancements
Required Experience
- Experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role
- Background in financial services and regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with data, systems, and process analysis
- Understanding of delivery lifecycles (e.g. Agile)
Desirable
- Exposure to compliance, monitoring, or control-based functions
- Experience with reporting or data visualisation tools
