A leading international law firm is seeking to recruit a Managing Associate (5+ PQE) to join its market-leading Real Estate team in London.

This is an opportunity to work within one of the largest and most active real estate practices in the UK, advising major investors, developers and property companies on high-profile transactions across a wide range of sectors.

The Role

You will play a key role within the team, managing your own caseload while also supporting partners on large-scale and complex real estate projects.

Your work will include:

  • Advising on investment, development, funding and asset management transactions
  • Acting for institutional investors, developers, funds and major property companies
  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Leading workstreams on complex projects and coordinating internal teams
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees
  • Supporting business development initiatives and client relationship growth

The team works on some of the largest and most high-profile real estate projects in the UK, offering exposure to complex and commercially significant matters.

The firm’s Real Estate division is one of its largest and most established practices, comprising over 300 lawyers across the UK.

The London team advises a high-profile client base including major property investors, developers, institutional funds and occupiers, delivering complex projects across all sectors of the property market.

The practice is also highly innovative, leveraging legal technology and advanced data platforms to deliver transactions more efficiently and provide deeper commercial insight to clients.

The Candidate

  • UK qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in commercial real estate
  • Experience in investment, development, funding or asset management work
  • Strong technical and transaction management skills
  • Experience supervising junior lawyers and managing workstreams
  • Commercial mindset with an interest in client relationship development and business development
