Remediation Project Manager Leeds 45,000 – 65,000 + benefits (depending on experience)

Would you like to take the lead on complex land remediation projects across the UK, working with a consultancy that has a strong pipeline of development-led work and a solid reputation in the industry?

We are looking for a Remediation Project Manager to join a well-established environmental and engineering consultancy in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from feasibility through to completion, working across a mix of residential, commercial, and brownfield regeneration schemes.

The Role: As a Remediation Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing remediation strategies and delivery on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, regulators, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing remediation projects from design through to validation and sign-off
  • Preparing and reviewing remediation strategies, method statements, and risk assessments
  • Liaising with clients, regulators, and subcontractors
  • Overseeing site works, including earthworks, enabling works, and validation sampling
  • Managing project budgets, programmes, and reporting
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to technical delivery

About You

  • 5-10 years’ experience within remediation, geoenvironmental, or brownfield development
  • Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation and best practice
  • Experience managing remediation or enabling works on site
  • Confident liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Full UK driving licence
