As the business continues to evolve, they’re looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner who thrives on ambiguity, insight and influence — not just reporting cycles.
This role is about adding commercial insight, value creation and business partnering, not FP&A.
The opportunity
This is a highly commercial role, sitting close to senior stakeholders and the heart of decision-making. You’ll lead a small team while personally driving insight across projects, performance and commercial initiatives.
You’ll focus on:
- Ad-hoc commercial analysis and insight
- Translating complex data into clear business impact
- Challenging assumptions and asking better questions
- Using KPIs and data creatively to drive different outcomes
You’ll be expected to think differently, spot opportunities others miss, and help shape commercial decisions across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering commercial insight and performance analysis to senior stakeholders
- Leading ad-hoc reporting and deep-dive analysis
- Turning data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations
- Supporting projects and initiatives with robust financial insight
- Developing and tracking KPIs that genuinely influence behaviour and outcomes
- Managing and developing a team of 3
- Acting as a trusted commercial partner, focused on impact, not process
About you
- Strong experience in a commercial finance or analytical role, ideally within FMCG or a fast-paced, complex environment
- A natural curiosity and ability to dig into data, spot patterns and generate insight
- Confidence presenting and influencing at senior levels
- A proactive and creative approach, thinking outside of the box
- Experience leading or mentoring others
- A finance qualification is preferred but not essential
