The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will work closely with managers and partners, supervising junior team members and ensuring high-quality delivery across all engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit assignments from planning to completion for a varied portfolio of clients
- Prepare audit planning documentation and identify key risk areas
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing on‑the‑job training
- Review the work of the audit team, ensuring accuracy and complianceBuild strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact during assignments
- Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with clients to resolve queries
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
About You
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified ACCA / ACA (or equivalent)
- Recent experience working within UK practice, ideally in an audit-focused role
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards
- Confident leading audits and supervising staff
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
