Description of role:

We are looking to recruit a full-time and permanent Product Manager, a key strategic role with responsibility for a defined portfolio of Yourgene Health products.

The Product Manager plays a strategic role within the organization, ensuring that our products deliver meaningful value to customers while supporting sustainable business growth. This role is responsible for understanding customer needs, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities, translating these insights into product strategies that drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Working cross-functionally with commercial, scientific, and operational teams, the Product Manager ensures we are building the right products for the right customers and solving the most important problems in the market. They are responsible for guiding product development from concept through launch and lifecycle management, ensuring that products are delivered to the highest standards and aligned with business objectives.

By combining strong market insight with customer understanding, the Product Manager helps identify new opportunities to create value, improve existing offerings, and shape the future direction of the product portfolio. Ultimately, this role ensures that our organization continues to develop products that meet customer needs, deliver measurable impact, and drive long-term growth.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Owning and defining the product vision and strategy.
• Creating the strategic product roadmap, developing business cases and ensuring alignment within the company.
• Leading on the voice of the customer and capturing feedback to provide valuable insights.
• Developing curated, specific and clear user needs that have captured the voice of the customer.
• Collaborating with product development to translate into product features or updates or new releases.
• Contributing to the companies NPI strategy and execution.
• Developing and executing successful Go To Market (GTM) plans.
• Developing market led pricing models with cross functional input.
• Value proposition and positioning.
• KOL engagement programme.
• Customer collaborations to validate and beta test new updates / features.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

Behaviours:

• Strategic thinker.
• Self- starter with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Technically curious and literate – ability to understanding a range molecular diagnostics workflows and technologies including NGS and PCR.
• Empathy - ability to empathise and develop a deep understanding of what success looks like for the customer.
• Customer focused – able to put themselves into the shoes of the customer and build rapport.
• Curiosity – the desire to explore problems with the customer and understand the multi-faceted way these can be resolved.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Expectation of up to 20% travel – across UK, customers and events globally as required

Qualifications:

• Product Management experience within a technical field
• Business experience in molecular diagnostics
