A highly regarded London law firm is looking to recruit a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex property-backed financings for leading lenders, funds and borrowers, alongside a collaborative team with strong links to a well-established real estate practice.
About the Role
You will be involved in a broad range of real estate and structured lending transactions, advising both lenders and borrowers on financing arrangements across the UK property market. The team works closely with a diverse client base including banks, alternative lenders, private equity investors, property developers and institutional funds, supporting transactions across multiple asset classes. The role provides excellent exposure to high-value transactions and client interaction, within a firm that encourages commercial thinking and proactive involvement in deals.
Responsibilities
- Real estate investment and development finance
- Senior, mezzanine and structured lending
- Bridging finance and refinancing transactions
- Debt restructurings and workout scenarios
- Bilateral and syndicated lending arrangements
You will take an active role in drafting and negotiating finance documentation, managing transaction processes and liaising with clients and counterparties.
Qualifications
- Has 2–4 years PQE in Real Estate Finance
Required Skills
- Has experience advising on property-backed lending transactions
- Enjoys working closely with clients and commercial stakeholders
- Is technically strong with excellent drafting skills
- Is organised, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
