We are working with a top-tier global hedge fund to hire in London, the firm has built a reputation as one of the most successful and innovative players in the industry, they are now looking to add a Financial Controller into their team.
This is a high-impact role within a high-calibre team, and will work with many senior stakeholders across the business. You will take ownership of key financial processes across UK entities while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. The role offers significant involvement in automation and transformation initiatives, partnering with a best-in-class in-house technology team to enhance systems and reporting.
The firm is at the forefront of integrating AI and advanced analytics into its finance function and they’re looking for someone who has been proactive in also leaning about and enhancing their skills in this area. You will also manage and develop junior team members, while contributing to broader strategic initiatives as the business continues to scale.
They are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience, with some exposure to financial services. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders are essential, and any exposure to coding/AI experience is desirable.
