Responsibilities
- Support the QA Engineering team in implementing structured QA processes and methods
- Manual testing and validation of our user interfaces for client delivery projects, platform and techops teams to the specification and acceptance criteria
- Ensure high quality standards are met within the software development lifecycle
- Support project managers and DAC team members with scoping and requirements, including writing acceptance criteria
- Feedback all bugs, defects and failures collaboratively
- Create, maintain and execute manual test cases
- Participate in SCRUM events, including daily stand ups, retrospectives and planning
What we are looking for?
- 2yrs+ of experience as a manual QA Engineer for web based applications
- 1yrs+ of experience with Azure DevOps
- 1yrs+ of experience with SCRUM delivery methodology
- Strong skills in writing manual test cases
- Experience of multiple types of testing, including Exploratory, Regression, Smoke etc
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Ability to support PMs and DACs with requirements and acceptance criteria
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively across a cross-functional team including developers, project managers and data scientists
- Interest in learning automation testing techniques
Bonus points if you have:
- ISTQB Certified
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of API
- Knowledge of Public Sector
Location –
This is a hybrid role based in our office in London (Borough). You would be expected to be able to work from the office at least 1-2 days per week. Some travel is also required for on-site client engagements as needed.
