We are looking for a hands‑on Electronics / Hardware Engineer to design and develop microcontroller and application processor-based embedded systems. This role sits at the hardware–software boundary, involving board‑level design, firmware development, and Linux bring‑up.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and developanalogue/digital circuits and PCB layouts
  • Performboard bring‑up, debugging, and prototype validation
  • Integrate hardware with firmware and embedded Linux systems
  • Collaborate across teams throughout the full product lifecycle
  • SupportEMC compliance, testing, and production readiness

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years electronics/hardware engineering experience
  • Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, PIC) and application processors (ARM Cortex-A or similar)
  • Strong hardware debugging and lab skills (oscilloscope, logic analyser, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, and high‑speed interfaces
  • Experience with embedded firmware and Linux bring‑up
  • An engineer who focuses on outcomes and delivers at pace
  • Strong judgement in balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
  • Ability to prioritise high‑impact work and avoid low‑value tasks
  • Practical, solution‑oriented mindset

Nice to have:

  • x86 systems (Intel/AMD) experience
  • Wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa)
  • Manufacturing or production test experience

Job Types: Full‑time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
