About Our Team

The Contract Management team partners closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Account Support to enable compliant and successful commercial outcomes. The team manages the administration, review, negotiation, and organization of complex customer proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and customer needs. They play a key role in supporting the contracting process end-to-end, maintaining governance and documentation standards while driving operational efficiency and a positive customer contracting experience.

About The Role

The Manager of Contract Management provides strategic leadership for the contracting function, ensuring the team delivers efficient, compliant, and commercially sound contracting support to the business. The role shapes contracting ops strategy, drives process improvements, and strengthens collaboration with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Account Support to enable successful customer agreements and sustainable commercial outcomes. The manager develops team capability, ensures strong governance and risk management, and acts as a senior escalation point while continuously advancing operational effectiveness and the overall contracting experience for both internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the contract management function, ensuring compliant, customer-focused commercial outcomes
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Account Support to deliver efficient, high-quality contracting support
  • Oversee end-to-end contract development, negotiation, approval, and ongoing management
  • Act as the escalation point for complex or higher‑risk contract matters, ensuring appropriate governance and risk management
  • Coach, support, and develop a high-performing team through clear priorities and regular feedback
  • Ensure consistent application of contracting policies, approval processes, and documentation standards
  • Align contracting operations with business priorities in collaboration with sales leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience

Requirements

  • Experience leading or managing a contract management or commercial operations function
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines
  • Sound judgement in managing risk, governance, and complex commercial issues
  • People leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, or team development
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience improving processes or leading change initiatives is desirable
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications
