Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Contracts Manager located in East Kilbride, with the flexibility to work from site and office base alike. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, managing both in-house trades and Subcontrators and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. Key tasks include reviewing individual Contracts and management of same, producing programmes of work, management of material and plant procurement, tracking changes to contracts and liaising with Commercial staff, communicating with Clients during contracts, mitigating risks, monitoring contract performance, and coordinating with internal departments to align contract terms with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in contract knowledge, management of tradesmen and subcontractors generally.
- Strong knowledge of industry compliance standards
- Project management and organizational skills to oversee contract lifecycles
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for stakeholder engagement
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to manage risks effectively
- Experience in the construction industry is essential.
- Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office tools
- A degree/qualification in Construction Management, or a related field preferred
