Asphalt Plant Shovel Driver (Quarry Operative)

Description

We are currently seeking a Quarry Operative to join our team at Cloud Hill Quarry, Derbyshire.  This role willl require the candidate to operate a loading shovel for the Asphalt Plant.

The role is based on 48 hours per week with overtime

The working pattern for this role is 4:30am – 15:30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 5am – 11am.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the operation of mobile plant, fixed plant and general plant maintenance, including housekeeping duties.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• The successful candidate must hold a current UK driving licence due to location of the quarry.
• A licence for heavy mobile plant is essential.
• You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team and be available to work flexible working patterns. 
• You will also have a willingness to learn and be a good communicator.
