Teachwise is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistantfor a local secondary academy based in Rochdale. The role will begin on 25th Marchand will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the summer.
The role will involve working with pupils across KS3 & KS4. You will need to have excellent communication skills coupled with an ability to engage with a pupils from a wide array of backgrounds.
The position would suit someone who has previously worked as a teaching assistantwithin a secondary school setting or someone who has worked with secondary age pupils within a sports club,youth club or outreach.
Key skills:
- Experience working with pupils across KS3/4
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage and build rapport quickly
- Ability to manage and improvebehaviour & outcomes
- Committed to pupil progress and positive outcomes
- Available from 25th March
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold and enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
