Job Description:

An opportunity has opened for an experienced Technical AV Project Manager to step into a role with genuine influence, technical depth, and the chance to deliver high‑profile collaboration and AV environments across the UK.

This position sits within a growing technology organisation known for delivering large‑scale transformation initiatives, premium AV integration, and exceptional customer experience. You’ll be joining a technically strong team where ambition is supported, quality matters, and you’ll have the autonomy to lead projects end‑to‑end.

If you’re ready to elevate your career and work on complex, multi‑site AV solutions that will be seen, used, and relied on every day, this is the move that will make an impact.

Why this role stands out

A platform for real career progression

You’ll work alongside AV designers, engineers, solution architects, and senior project leaders, giving you exposure to the wider technology ecosystem and opportunities to specialise, grow, and progress into senior delivery roles.

Your work will directly shape modern collaboration spaces, leadership suites, innovation centres, meeting environments, teaching spaces, and event facilities. Every project is different, challenging, and highly visible.

Hybrid working with genuine flexibility

A balanced working model that respects focus time, supports family life, and still enables strong collaboration with your delivery and engineering teams.

Investment in your development

From industry qualifications to vendor training across leading AV technologies, you will be supported with continuous learning. IOSH training is provided if required.

A stable, well‑resourced environment

You’ll benefit from the backing, structure, and capability of an established technology organisation with strong project management frameworks and dedicated engineering support.

What you will be doing

Delivering AV integration projects from concept to completion

You will lead cross‑functional teams through design coordination, equipment procurement, installation, programming, testing, commissioning, and handover. Your leadership ensures projects run smoothly and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Being the primary point of contact for clients

You will own the relationship throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations, providing clarity, and ensuring all deliverables align with technical specifications and business needs.

Managing budgets, schedules, and risks

You will control costs, drive timelines, identify risks early, and implement solutions that keep projects moving forward without compromising on quality or safety.

Driving consistency and excellence

You will maintain precise project documentation, produce clear reports, and ensure installations meet industry standards including AVIXA, BS EN, and internal quality processes.

Collaborating with AV designers, engineers, and subcontractors

You’ll coordinate teams and ensure the right technical resources are in the right place at the right time to deliver seamless, well‑integrated AV solutions.

What you bring

  • A track record of successfully delivering AV or collaboration projects
  • Strong understanding of AV systems such as VC, control, audio distribution, digital signage, and networked AV
  • Confidence working directly with clients, senior stakeholders, integrators, and technology vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of organisation and communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advantageous: Prince2, IOSH Managing Safely, or vendor accreditations such as Extron, Biamp, Q‑Sys, Poly, Netgear, and Crestron

Inclusivity and accessibility

Applications are welcome from all backgrounds and identities. The interview process can be adapted to meet any accessibility needs or adjustments required.
