It combines technical expertise, market insight, and client relationship management to deliver innovative reinsurance solutions across complex specialty lines. The role will assist with placement strategies and drive business development initiatives while ensuring compliance and profitability.**Main Responsibilities*** Crafting and delivering new reinsurance opportunities and growing revenue with existing and future clients. Playing an active role in delivering strategic growth initiatives, respond to tenders and handle high-value deals.* Serve as a point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness. Conduct strategic reviews, renewal planning, and risk advisory sessions with clients. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across Willis Re’s portfolio.* Analyse underwriting data, loss trends, pricing models, and market capacity to inform placement strategies. Use data visualisation tools to present insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with actuarial and analytics teams to assess portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities. Monitor exposure accumulations and model catastrophe scenarios for specialty risks.* Assist with the structuring, negotiation, and placement of reinsurance programmes across specialty lines. Develop bespoke solutions tailored to client risk profiles and market conditions. Maintain strong relationships with global reinsurers to secure optimal terms and capacity.* Track global developments in specialty risk sectors and regulatory environments. Contribute to the development of new reinsurance products and coverage enhancements.* Ensure all placements and documentation meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee transaction workflows, reporting, and audit readiness.
