Senior Mechanical Engineer

I’m supporting a UK‑based engineering project entering its early design phase and looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join on a long‑term Outside IR35 contract.

What’s involved

• Capital equipment integration within a process/M&E‑heavy environment
• Early‑phase / FEED design: layouts, specifications, concept development
• Mechanical interfaces, utilities, structural coordination & load considerations
• 2D/3D design using AutoCAD / Inventor
• Work alongside process, electrical, controls & structural teams
• Involvement in ATEX / hazardous environment requirements
• Strong documentation and specification skills needed

Requirements

• 5-7+ years as a Mechanical Engineer in industrial/process/capital equipment projects
• Eligible for SC clearance (British nationals only)
• Idea background – Highly regulated industries – Nuclear, Defence.
