An industry leading energy organisation is entering a key phase of growth and procurement transformation, creating an opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping a modern, high performing function.
With strong investment and a clear roadmap towards best in class procurement, this role offers the chance to influence strategy, drive change and leave a lasting impact across engineering and operational spend.
Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will lead a team of three and take ownership of strategic sourcing activity across engineering projects and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to design and embed category strategies across engineering and operational spend
- Identify and deliver transformation initiatives, challenging existing approaches and driving continuous improvement
- Monitor market dynamics, supplier innovation and cost trends to unlock value and competitive advantage
- Lead complex sourcing activity, ensuring robust governance, risk mitigation and compliance
- Develop and lead a high performing team, driving delivery, engagement and stakeholder alignment across the business
Required Experience:
- Strong procurement experience within a complex, matrix organisation
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation and commercial management
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders within evolving environments
- Experience across engineering procurement, capital projects or technical services
- Background within energy, oil & gas, engineering or manufacturing environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and transformation within procurement
- Degree qualified with MCIPS or equivalent preferred
