Based in Glasgow, you’ll play a key role in developing user-facing software used day to day, working closely with stakeholders to build intuitive, responsive tools that deliver real value. While the role is front-end focused, any back-end experience, particularly with Java, would be a real advantage.
The role
You’ll be involved in:
- Building modern front-end software using React and TypeScript
- Creating high-quality user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, responsiveness, and performance
- Working on complex, data-rich front-end systems
- Developing and enhancing interactive grids, data visualisation components, and workflow tools using technologies such as AG Grid
- Collaborating closely with users and internal teams to refine features and improve functionality
- Contributing across the wider stack where needed, including backend services and APIs

You’ll likely have:
- Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript
- A good eye for front-end quality, usability, and performance
- Experience building complex user interfaces, dashboards, internal tools, or data-heavy front-end systems
- An understanding of how front-end software interacts with backend services and APIs
- A collaborative approach and an interest in working closely with stakeholders and end users
- Exposure to Java on the backend
- Broader full stack development experience
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or other highly data-driven environments
