What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an exceptional, product‑minded full‑stack software engineer to join our engineering team and help scale Omnea with us. Our team will grow from low double‑digit to 200+ enterprise customers and through 10x revenue growth over the next 2‑3 years. You will support us in driving the growth of our product, team, and company through each chapter as we go from ‘start‑up’ to ‘scale‑up’.
You should be prepared to undertake our pair‑programming stage of the interview process in JavaScript or TypeScript and be assessed on that basis as if it has been your main language. We’re hiring for full‑stack engineers so if you’re only a front‑end or back‑end specialist, largely a DevOps/platform person, or have mainly been using another language (e.g., Java) this likely isn’t a fit.

What Can You Expect on Our Tech Team
- Join a Skilled Team. You’ll become part of one of Europe’s fastest growing early‑stage companies, working alongside experienced full‑stack product engineers.
- Direct Product Impact. You will be involved in key product decisions, prioritising our roadmap, defining project scopes, and guiding technical direction.
- Work with Modern Tech. Omnea is built on cloud‑native and serverless technologies: Typescript, React & Material UI, Postgres, Hasura, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, managed via AWS CDK & SST. We use Sentry, Lumigo, LogRocket, and GitHub Actions.
- End‑to‑end Ownership. You will own projects from design to deployment, monitoring, and measuring impact on users.
- Continuous Delivery. We embrace continuous delivery, deploying small incremental changes multiple times per day.
- Tackle Scalability Challenges. As we grow our customer base, you will help scale our product, architecture, and processes while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Collaboration & Autonomy. Work autonomously while collaborating quickly on challenging problems.
- Customers at the Centre. We actively encourage engagement with customers to iterate our products based on their feedback.
About You
- You have a few years’ experience building web apps—designing and implementing features from start to finish (full‑stack, using Typescript and ideally AWS).
- You focus on having a high impact and have spearheaded the engineering of critical systems.
- You understand what it takes to build highly reliable and well‑architected products.
- You enjoy building across the stack, problem‑solving, and quickly picking up new skills.
- You crave ownership and are keen to take on larger engineering or DevOps/SRE projects.
- You are a team builder, providing actionable feedback and level‑up mentoring.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy making autonomous decisions with support.

- You’ve performed exceptionally at something else—academics, sport, work, etc.—and have gone above and beyond.
- You love engineering more than a job, contributing to open‑source or side projects, tackling ambiguous problems, and delivering quality code.

Compensation
Compensation Range: £65K – £95K
