The company is a well‑established Mechanical Building Services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality commercial refurbishment and plantroom projects across London and the South. Known for its supportive leadership team and practical, delivery‑focused culture, the business provides genuine autonomy and long‑term progression.

  • Quality control and snag resolution
  • Void closures

There is a strong pipeline of future Mechanical Building Services projects, offering continuity beyond this scheme. Start date ideally within 3‑4 weeks.

The Role – Mechanical Project Manager / M&E Project Manager

  • Act as the client’s primary point of contact
  • Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors
  • Oversee plantroom, HVAC, plumbing and pipefitting installation
  • Drive 2nd fix through to commissioning
  • Ensure programme milestones are achieved
  • Manage site documentation and reporting
  • Complete RAMS, toolbox talks, plant registers and weekly reporting packs
  • Maintain full health & safety compliance
  • Liaise with senior management and commercial teams

Who This Would Suit

An experienced Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager stepping down to project level, Mechanical Site Manager ready to step up, or an M&E Project Manager with strong mechanical bias.

Essential Experience

  • Mechanical Building Services background
  • Strong plumbing and pipefitting knowledge
  • Experience delivering plantroom or commercial refurbishment projects
  • Confident client‑facing communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership and drive delivery

This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands‑on, takes pride in delivering quality mechanical installations, and wants real responsibility on site.
