The Role
We’re recruiting a Production Line Leader to take ownership of a busy production line, leading a team to hit daily targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, motivating people, solving problems, and keeping production running smoothly.
For the right candidate, this role offers a clear route to a permanent position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating a production team to achieve hourly and daily targets
- Managing labour effectively to meet volume and cost requirements
- Ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Promoting strong health & safety, GMP, and hygiene standards
- Completing production paperwork and using the integrated management system (Vision)
- Supporting training, onboarding, and development of new starters
- Driving continuous improvement and reducing waste
- Liaising with agency staff and providing day-to-day feedback
- Monitoring KPIs including output, quality, H&S, waste, and training
- Taking part in team leader meetings, reviews, and performance processes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
- Confident leading people in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of quality, hygiene, and H&S standards
- Comfortable using production systems and paperwork
- A proactive, hands-on approach with good communication skills
(This role would suit a current Line Leader, Senior Operative, or Step-Up Supervisor.)
