HVAC Project Manager
Location: London (projects across Greater London & surrounding areas) Salary: 55,000 – 70,000 DOE Benefits: Company car or car allowance, fuel card, bonus scheme, pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
A leading building services and facilities management contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to deliver commercial and industrial HVAC projects across London and the surrounding areas.
This role suits a technically competent Project Manager with a strong HVAC background, capable of managing projects from design coordination through to commissioning and final handover, within a structured and well-established organisation.
Role Responsibilities
End-to-end management of HVAC projects from pre-construction through to completion
Managing multiple projects simultaneously, typically valued between 100k and 2m+
Overseeing installation of:
Chillers and heat pumps
VRV / VRF systems
AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, and ventilation systems
Associated controls and BMS interfaces
Managing subcontractors, direct labour, and specialist suppliers
Programme management, progress tracking, and reporting
Cost control including budgets, forecasts, variations, and final accounts
Liaising with clients, consultants, M&E contractors, and internal teams
Reviewing drawings, specifications, RAMS, and technical submittals
Ensuring compliance with:
Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations
F-Gas regulations
Company quality and site procedures
Attending site, design, and client progress meetings
Managing commissioning, snagging, O&M manuals, and handover documentation
Candidate Profile
Essential:
Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager or Mechanical Project Manager
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and plant
Experience delivering commercial HVAC projects within London
Ability to manage programmes, costs, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Good working knowledge of UK Health & Safety and CDM Regulations
Full UK driving licence
