We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee Passive Fire Protection projects across London. Our client is a growing contractor specialising in fire compliance works and is open to appointing someone on either a permanent basis or a temp-to-perm contract.
This position would suit a hands-on Project Manager who is confident managing multiple live projects, overseeing site teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Scope of Works
Projects will primarily involve Passive Fire Protection, including:
Fire Stopping (priority experience)
Fire Door installation and remedial works
While experience across both areas is beneficial, strong fire stopping experience is the key requirement.
The Role
Managing multiple Passive Fire projects across London
Full project ownership from pre-start through to completion
Managing site teams, operatives and subcontractors
Overseeing programmes, quality and compliance
Maintaining client relationships and attending progress meetings
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager
Occasional travel outside of London when required (fully expensed)
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Project Manager within Passive Fire Protection
Strong fire stopping knowledge highly desirable
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Commercial awareness and ability to manage project performance
Confident client-facing and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
