Job Title – Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location – North East
Salary – Up to 40,000, Door to Door travel paid
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a growing and professional engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled engineer with experience servicing and maintaining fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems across a variety of client environments.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and fault diagnosis, ensuring systems remain fully operational and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites
Diagnose and repair system faults quickly and efficiently
Support minor installations and system upgrades where required
Complete accurate service reports and documentation
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide clear updates on works carried out
Participate in a rotational on-call rota for emergency support
Requirements
Proven experience servicing fire and security systems
Familiarity with systems from leading fire and intruder manufacturers
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry best practices
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Full UK driving licence
