I’m currently working on an excellent opportunity for an Associate Civil Engineer to join a highly regarded, design-led engineering consultancy in London.

This is a key senior hire within a growing Development Infrastructure team, offering real influence over technical delivery, team leadership, and business growth.

  • You’ll be leading projects across the full lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery.
  • This role is particularly suited to an engineer with strong building drainage and infrastructure experience, looking to step into (or continue in) a leadership position.

✅ Key Experience Required

  • 10+ years’ experience in civil/infrastructure engineering
  • Strong background in roads, drainage, earthworks & utilities
  • Proven experience delivering residential and mixed-use developments
  • Drainage strategy & detailed design, including SuDS
  • Experience with foul & surface water attenuation
  • Familiar with approvals such as S38, S278 & S104
  • Proficient in MicroDrainage (or similar software)

  • Lead and manage projects from concept through to delivery
  • Oversee technical quality and financial performance
  • Support and develop junior engineers and technicians
  • Work closely with clients, architects and stakeholders
  • Contribute to team growth, strategy and business development
