Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm

 Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable General Machine Operator to support our production team. This role involves operating pre-set machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring consistent quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery that has been pre-set by skilled technicians or setters
• Load and unload materials and components into machines
• Monitor machines to ensure smooth and continuous production
• Identify and report faults, stoppages, or quality issues
• Carry out basic visual quality checks on finished products
• Assist with packing, labelling, and moving finished goods
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or shop floor environment preferred
• FLT (Forklift Truck) licence desirable but not essential
• Ability to follow instructions and work to standard procedures
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime where required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift and move materials 
• Good hand-eye coordination
