We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and hands-on Office Manager to join a busy service administration team in Coventry. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term progression for the right candidate.

The Role

As Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy service office, ensuring processes run smoothly, customers receive a high level of service, and the team is supported and performing effectively.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily running of a fast-paced service administration officeManage and support a team, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are metEnsure all administrative processes are followed accurately and consistentlyAct as a point of escalation for customer queries and ensure timely resolutionMaintain clear and professional communication with customers throughout the service processMonitor workflow and ensure tasks are completed within required timeframesOversee parts dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiencySupport wider office functions when required – a hands-on approach is essentialIdentify process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and customer experienceWhat We’re Looking For

Essential:

Proven experience managing or supervising an administrative or service-based teamStrong customer service background with a solutions-focused mindsetExcellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environmentConfident IT skills, including intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data filtering)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalA flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach

Desirable:

Experience within a service, engineering, or parts-based environmentKnowledge of service management systems or CRM platformsPersonal AttributesProactive and confident with a strong sense of ownershipHigh attention to detailTeam-oriented with a supportive and positive attitudeComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities…
