What you’ll be doing
Own the product portfolio positioning.
- Define differentiated product positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with our varied target audiences.
- Develop compelling value propositions that articulate customer benefits and commercial impact.
- Ensure consistency of product narrative across all channels, regions, and customer touchpoints.
Lead with insight.
- Own and direct primary and secondary research projects – validating customer needs, sizing market potential, and shaping future offerings with insight‑driven recommendations.
- Conduct ongoing market, competitor, and category analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and emerging trends.
- Gather and synthesise customer insights and feedback to inform product strategy, messaging, and roadmap decisions.
- Translate complex market data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Shape and execute GTM strategy.
- Lead the global go‑to‑market strategy for new product launches, feature releases, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with product, category marketing, brand, and regional teams to orchestrate integrated launch plans.
- Own launch readiness, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and customer‑facing teams.
- Create high‑quality sales enablement materials including pitch decks, battlecards, product guides, and training content.
- Equip sales teams with the tools, messaging, and competitive insights needed to drive adoption and revenue.
- Support ongoing sales training and knowledge‑sharing to maintain product expertise across the organisation.
Forecasting & Reporting.
- Provide accurate product sales forecasts and insights, tracking KPIs and refining strategies as needed.
Champion strategic pricing.
- Leverage market research to inform pricing strategies and develop offerings that appeal across segments, driving both simplicity and value.
Leadership and influence
- Champion a product‑marketing mindset across the organisation by embedding customer insight, competitive awareness, and value‑led storytelling into how teams think, plan, and execute.
- Lead a team of product marketing professionals
Skills, experience & qualifications required – Essential
- Proven senior experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B or retail/e-commerce sectors.
- Experience of building or elevating product‑marketing capability, whether through frameworks, training, or embedding a customer‑centric, insight‑driven mindset across teams.
- Practical, demonstrable experience in using AI-enabled tools or processes to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data‑driven decision‑making.
- A strategic approach to GTM planning with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Expertise in positioning, pricing strategy, and competitive differentiation.
- Exceptional communication skills and storytelling ability.
