Responsibilities and duties of the Site Operations Manager
Reporting to the Regional Lead you will:
- Take full operational ownership of the site
- Manage and coordinate contractors across maintenance and logistics activities
- Oversee and manage SLA contracts, ensuring service delivery and performance standards are met
- Plan and manage maintenance schedules to ensure safe and efficient site operations
- Work closely with logistics teams to support the movement of biogas via a virtual pipeline and site interface
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly relating to gas systems
- Act as the on‑site point of contact for operational issues, resolving problems in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain high technical standards across all site activities
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Strong mechanical background, ideally with hands‑on experience
- Experience working with gas systems and associated HSE requirements
- Experience managing contractors and third‑party service providersKnowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling within an industrial environment
