Assistant Credit Manager

We’re working with a growing challenger bank looking to hire an Assistant Credit Manager to join their Real Estate Finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with exposure to property lending or credit operations who wants to develop towards a future Credit Manager role within a supportive and well-structured credit team.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and validate valuation reports and IMS reports against approved credit terms
• Approve conditions precedent and drawdown requirements ahead of loan completion
• Process completion and tranche drawdowns, working closely with Relationship and Operations teams
• Produce risk MI reporting for senior management and committees
• Monitor key credit risk indicators and support wider credit function operations

What we’re looking for:

• Experience within UK real estate finance / property lending
• Understanding of valuations, IMS reports and the drawdown process
• Strong Excel and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive individual looking to build a long-term career in credit
