Interim Cyber Security Risk Manager

I’m looking for a Cyber Risk Manager to support a major FTSE100 through a large cyber and technology transformation. This role focuses on assessing, prioritising, and managing cyber risks across the organisation, helping uplift risk governance, reporting, and assurance across multiple business and technology areas.

You’ll work across security, technology, and operational teams to identify risks, assess control maturity, support mitigation plans, and improve overall cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities (Broad)

• Lead cyber risk assessments across business units and technology services
• Maintain and enhance cyber risk registers and reporting
• Identify control gaps and support remediation planning
• Review risk against frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and internal standards
• Support governance forums with clear risk insights and updates
• Partner with security SMEs, audit, and operational teams to drive risk reduction
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cyber risk processes and frameworks
