We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to join our high‑performing Finance team based in Glasgow. What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts and ensuring prompt invoice payment
  • Using all available communication channels—with a strong focus on outbound calls
  • Building strong internal and external relationships to drive payment and query resolution
  • Delivering monthly targets across aged debt, cash collection and DSO
  • Producing monthly customer statements
  • Working closely with Sales Ledger, Placement Support and Billing to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records
  • Ensuring all activity is accurately recorded
  • Attending regular ledger reviews with the Credit Control Manager/Team Lead
  • Escalating accounts to Legal or Trade Debt Partners where appropriate
  • Maintaining high levels of financial compliance and process adherence
  • Supporting team initiatives and continuous improvement projects

What you’ll bring

  • Previous finance or collections experience
  • Fluent Dutch or French (desirable, not essential)
  • Understanding of credit risk principles
  • Experience managing a high‑volume ledger
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Skilled negotiator able to influence outcomes
  • Comfortable reviewing and analysing financial dataProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  • A self‑starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
