As the Project Lead fora new Sport in Mindinitiative, you willbe responsible foridentifyingand connecting with potential sports partners, influencers, clubs, and relevant brands to drive a national marketing and engagement strategy. This initiative is focused on enabling 100,000 men experiencing mental health challenges to get involved in sport and physical activity as part of Sport in Mind’s ambitious 2026 goal.
You will playa central rolein driving awareness, trust, and participation among key audiences. As the main project leader,you’lldesign the strategy and build a clear executional plan to turn vision into action. You will work closely withstrategic staff member and Trustees, collaborating directly to shape, test, and deliver impactful ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of the Sport in Mind campaign
- Develop and execute a scalable engagement strategy to reach men through sport-based touchpoints
- Identify, secure, and manage partnerships with sports clubs, governing bodies, influencers, and aligned brands
- Build a structured project roadmap with milestones aligned to engagement and income targets
- Coordinate stakeholders across marketing, fundraising, partnerships, and leadership teams
- Translate strategic objectives into clear initiatives that deliver measurable impact
- Track performance, report progress, and continuously optimise the approach

Engagement & Impact
- Enable 100,000 men to engage with Sport in Mind programmes, events, digital platforms, or partner-led activities by 2026
- Deliver year-on-year growth in male participation across sport and physical activity initiatives
- Increase awareness and trust of Sport in Mind among target male audiences, measured through reach, engagement, and partner feedback
Partnerships & Reach
- Secure strategic partnerships with sports clubs, leagues, governing bodies, and influencers that directly contribute to engagement targets
- Build a sustainable pipeline of partners capable of reaching men at scale across multiple sports and regions
- Activate campaigns that generate measurable participation through partner channels
Income Generation
- Contribute to increased unrestricted and restricted income through partnerships, sponsorships, and campaign-led fundraising
- Support the development of commercial and brand partnerships that deliver both financial return and mission impact
- Demonstrate a clear return on investment between campaign activity, engagement growth, and income generated
Delivery & Execution
- Deliver agreed milestones on time and within scope
- Produce clear reporting on performance, insights, and learning
- Establish repeatable frameworks that can be scaled beyond the initial campaign
