Job Title: Locum Consultant Psychiatrist Location: Hampshire Contract Type: 3 month+ placements Rates : £80-110per hour
About the Role We are seeking experienced Locum Consultant Psychiatrists to join services across the country. Whether you’re looking for occasional shifts or longer-term contracts, we can match you with opportunities in inpatient, community, liaison, or specialist settings.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and provide evidence-based treatment plans. Offer clinical leadership and supervision to junior doctors and the multidisciplinary team. Participate in Mental Health Act work, risk management, and clinical governance activities.
Requirements Full GMC registration with a licence to practise. Inclusion on the Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT). Relevant experience in adult, CAMHS, old age, or specialty psychiatry. Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Desirable Section 12 Approved Clinician (AC) Approval
