At Smurfit Westrock, we're on a mission to get the products you use every day on to supermarket shelves. As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in forging new partnerships, identifying untapped opportunities, and propelling our company to new heights.

What You'll Do:

• Spot Opportunities: Research and identify prospects to expand our market reach.
• Cultivate Relationships: Build strong, lasting partnerships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Strategize for Success: Develop and execute growth strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
• Champion Our Brand: Represent Smurfit Westrock with professionalism, passion, and persuasion.
• Seal the Deal: Negotiate, close, and oversee the successful onboarding of new clients.

What We're Looking For:

• A dynamic self-starter with a proven track record in business development, sales, or account management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively.
• Job would be 80/90% new business focussed, 10/20% account management. Success in the role will therefore be judged first and foremost on ability to hit the ground running and develop new accounts.
