MCS are seeking a highly motivated, Project Support Officer (Band 5) to join Digital Operations team. This isn’t just any admin role; you’ll be in the heart of health and social care to deliver innovative technology that saves lives.
As Project Support Officer, you will:
- Drive Delivery: Support the design, implementation, and documentation of complex ICT solutions
- Manage Systems: Provide top-tier administration expertise to ensure seamless project roll-outs
- Problem Solve: Record and resolve complex ICT incidents while ensuring data quality remains sharp
- Collaborate: Work closely with stakeholders and software suppliers to turn requirements into reality
- Ensure Quality: Lead the charge on testing new project elements and documenting outcomes to hit every requirement
Who You Are
We need someone with a mix of technical savvy and project experience. You should have:
- A University degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, an HND plus 2 years, or 4 years of solid experience in a project or ICT environment.
- At least 12 months of experience using business‑related computer systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel are a must).
- Good understanding of PRINCE2.
- A proactive team player who can influence stakeholders and analyse complex information to support big decisions.
The Package
- Salary: £30,966/y | Pro‑rata £15.88/h
- Duration: 6 Months – Extension Possible
- Start Date: March 2026
