Commercial Finance Analyst

This is a brilliant opportunity for a curious, driven part-qualified (or studying) finance professional looking to step into a more commercial, forward-looking role, where you can add real value, influence decisions, and move beyond pure reporting.

The Role

You’ll sit at the heart of the business, partnering closely with sales and operations, with exposure to:

• Supporting bids, pricing, and new business opportunities
• Working alongside senior stakeholders on investment decisions
• Contributing to budgets, forecasts, and month-end
• Delivering insightful analysis that genuinely influences decisions

This isn’t a traditional reporting role – it’s about thinking differently, challenging ideas, and developing strong commercial acumen.

The Ideal Profile

Personality and mindset matter more than ticking every box.

I’m looking for someone who is:

• Curious and proactive – you ask questions and want to understand the “why”
• Commercially minded (or keen to develop this)
• Confident in communicating with non-finance stakeholders
• Ambitious and motivated to grow within commercial finance

Your Background

• 1–3 years’ experience in a finance role
• Studying (or planning to start) ACCA / CIMA / ACA
• Perhaps from a grad scheme or your first role, now looking for more exposure
• Strong Excel skills with an interest in analysis
